Cape Wind

We moved to Falmouth about 4 years ago and found this topic pretty heated. Unfortunately, it seems like there is no real "middle" ground on discussion. Each side is rooted in their propaganda. So, would like to learn a lot more from both sides of the issue. ;>)

NIMBY

Not being versed in the details of the environmental impact statement, this really strikes me like NIMBY gone wild. We can't preach being green to the rest of the world and asking them to limit their greenhouse emissions if we don't start in our own backyard. For God's sakes, Texas is going to beat Massachusetts to have the first off-shore wind-farm. Which one is the red state again?
